Houston, TX Gas Systems Corporation-McKinney, TX was awarded a nitrogen PSA generator contract by PNP Petroleum, Inc.- San Antonio, TX to supply one million cubic foot per day of high-pressure nitrogen into a pressure depleted reservoir located near Poth, TX for the purpose of increasing oil production. Pressure Maintenance application is one of many enhanced oil recovery techniques using nitrogen as an injection gas. Nitrogen injection is expected to extend the life of this field by another 15-20 years and produce an estimated one million barrels or more of the original oil in place.
